Signs of Spring

Signs of Spring are making themselves known in my yard!  

I love this stage of Nature's Cycle - after the long night and dormant period of winter - when new life emerges.  I love the look of tiny buds on trees, bushes, and flowers -- the whole potential of the life to come all contained, tightly wrapped, waiting to burst forth.  Infinite potential.  

The fern is a perfect image of this energy to me.  The tightly curled frond ready to unfurl is an ideal symbol of Life to me.  The whole of life is this unfolding process.  We don't create our own inner being, we simply reveal more and more of it, year after year.  And like the image of the ferns above (and in my new logo for Connected Body Therapy) we do this amazing work in connection with others.  This is what Love is.  Unfolding together into our best self.  

I love working together with clients to create their best life - able to feel good in their bodies and able to sustain the work they are here to do on the Earth.  We cannot do that work alone.  We need one another, we need to turn toward one another, with honesty and vulnerability and commit fully to our own unfurling.  

This is Love.  This Love is the Connection that sustains us all.
